Nadiya Dolce
B.S. / MSW / LCSW
I have been working with youth and families with mental health needs in the Greater Waterbury region for the past ten years. I am fluent in English and Urdu. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Connecticut and completed my Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. During my time in Graduate school I completed internships at the United Nations in New York, as well as The Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund in Hartford, CT. Through my educational training, work, and volunteer experiences, I have advocated for social change on the national and local level on behalf of the women, children, and families I work with.
My passion lies in empowering individuals and families to overcome trauma, behavioral, emotional, and socio-economic issues that are negatively impacting their lives. My clinical work experience includes providing intensive in-home child and adolescent psychiatric services (IICAPS) for children at risk of being removed from their homes due to behavioral difficulties and acute psychiatric needs, individual and family therapy at the outpatient level, as well as direct care work with children and adolescents living in group home and residential facilities. I collaborate with providers such as DCF (if families have involvement with DCF), Juvenile Probation, and the school systems to ensure my client's are given the resources and support they need to be successful.
My clients tell me that my sense of humor, customized approach, and respect for their personal and cultural beliefs allows them to feel at ease during their sessions. I put a strong emphasis on making the therapeutic experience a team and strengths based approach between myself and my clients. After all, I believe that in order for treatment to be successful, you have to be invested and help develop treatment goals that are practical and suit your specific needs and abilities. I look forward to hearing your story, and how I can work with you to make it a happier ending!

B.A. / B.S/ MBA
I am a native of the Greater Waterbury region and a mentor at OLOC. I speak English, Spanish, and German. I completed my undergraduate degree in Management, Mechanical Engineering, and EuroTech German with a minor in International Business from the University of Connecticut. I'm currently pursing my Masters in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. I know first hand the powerful influence adults can have on the lives of youth. I credit my success to my mentors that supported me from a young age, kept me on the right track, and out of trouble! I look forward to helping your child achieve their full potential and acquire the resources they need to be successful.
