Rosy is a hypo-allergenic therapy dog who loves working with children, teens and adults to provide comfort during their sessions (if they want her to be a part of their session).

Animal Assisted Therapy can be used in your child’s therapy session to help them develop a variety of skills such as:

  • empathy

  • social skills

  • trust

  • patience

  • confidence

  • responsibility

  • appropriate expression of emotions

  • verbal and nonverbal communication skills

  • awareness of self and surroundings

  • anger management

If your child or teen has experienced a loss, they may have difficulties comprehending the loss and at times regulating their emotions following the unexpected passing of their loved one. Animal assisted therapy can be used to help them process grief and loss in a gentle and nurturing way.

In her spare time, Rosy enjoys spreading her love by volunteering at various community based events as a therapy dog. No matter where she goes, she has the natural gift to light up the room and put a smile on everyone's face!
